They then challenged them to make their homes into winter wonderlands in time for Christmas. They also created a helpful sheet to assist people in getting started and put together a series online workshops. They even secured a grant to pay for bursaries that assist people living who live in the poorest areas of their village to take part.

Twisted Trees Productions

Twisted Trees Productions is a creative outlet for Ami Horrocks, Melanie Cove and their team. Their work explores the ways in which art can help heal, connect, and transform. Their new film THE BACK 80 tells the story of Suzanne, whose life is completely turned upside down when she encounters Bigfoot in her childhood home's woods. It is powered by Spectrasonics Omnisphere the new sound library is constantly stimulating - with every sound made entirely of wood and elements of nature.

Volunteers

Ami and Melanie wanted to make their Window Wanderland as inclusive as they were able, so they worked closely with local volunteers and groups to encourage participation. They invited residents of social housing estates and also provided bursaries for people who were less fortunate. They also developed a support sheet to help newcomers get started, flyers with inspiring images, and packs of materials. Ami concentrated on logistics and strategy, while Melanie taught workshops and sourced materials.

Effective community hubs are flexible and adaptable. They can be established by not-for-profit organisations as well as community groups and other stakeholders and are designed to foster an environment that makes people feel secure and supported. The Community Wellbeing Plan 2017-21 of Council will improve health outcomes and aid residents to live a fulfilled life.
