Our DFRC Blue-Gold Highschool Participants - Ambassadors, Band Members, Cheerleaders, and Football Players - play a significant role within the success of the DFRC Blue-Gold program and the DFRC mission to enrich lives of Delawareans with intellectual disABILITIES. Many of the scholars select to take part in our Hand-in-Hand Program the place they're matched with kids and younger adults with mental disABILITIES - our Blue-Gold All★Star Buddies - to share their Blue-Gold expertise main up to Game Day. Each month of the program, there are statewide events- a dance social gathering, bowling outings, a pool social gathering, and more! - organized by the DFRC Blue-Gold Committee. Participants and Buddies usually get collectively between events to see movies, go to school events, or just speak and cling out together.
